Actor and legendary geek culture icon, Wil Wheaton, famous for his roles in Stand by Me (1986), Star Trek: The Next Generation (1987), and The Big Bang Theory (2009-present), who is also the host of a popular web series, TableTop, will host the finale throughout.
He will be joined by The Breakup's Brian Callum, who will be co-hosting along with a number of luminaries from the tabletop gaming space.
A thousand plus board gamers from across the US will vie for a piece of the $250,000 prize pool. The finals are for 6 games being played: King of Tokyo, Munchkin, Villagers and Villains, Nevermore, Epic Spell Wars 2 and Ascension.
There is an adjacent exhibitors hall featuring game stores, game publishers such as Cryptozoic and Smirk and Dagger, a celebrity signing area and cosplayers all around.
