California Welcomes New Attractions and Celebrates Milestone Anniversaries in 2024

SACRAMENTO -- California invites travelers to experience an abundance of new offerings coming online in 2024. Throughout the year, the Golden State will celebrate the opening of exciting new attractions, rich educational offerings, milestone theme park anniversaries, luxury hotels, and more.

Disneyland Resort Opens New Attractions with Tiana's Palace Restaurant, San Fransokyo Square and More

ANAHEIM This fall, Disneyland Resort invites guests to step into exciting, newly reimagined locations and experiences, starting with the debut of Tiana's Palace at Disneyland Park – officially serving New Orleans-inspired cuisine beginning today – and San Fransokyo Square at Disney California Adventure Park, which officially transformed on Aug. 31.

Other new and updated experiences for families of all ages to enjoy across Disneyland Resort include the soulful sounds of Queenie and the Jambalaya Jazz Band on Rivers of America, "The Heartbeat of New Orleans – A Living Mural," the Adventureland Treehouse, as well as fall favorite seasonal celebrations Halloween Time and Plaza de la Familia. Over at Downtown Disney District, guests can relax at the new alfresco hangout spot, The Alley by Splitsville, and indulge in food offerings inspired by the Pacific and Gulf Coasts at the reimagined Jazz Kitchen Coastal Grill & Patio.  

CRŪ Winery Celebrates 20th Anniversary

MADERA -  CRŪ Winery is pleased to announce they are celebrating their 20th anniversary with special tastings, wine dinners, and a commemorative 20th-anniversary bottling.

Wine lovers can take part in CRŪ Winery's 20th-anniversary tastings at their Santa Lucia Highlands and Central Valley tasting rooms on September 9th & 10th. These tastings will highlight the unique vineyards and regions on the Central Coast that CRŪ Winery sources from and will showcase wines rarely included on their tasting menus. In addition, the tastings will include a sneak peek of their highly anticipated Regan Vineyards Pinot Noir, which will be released in 2024.

Disneyland Resort Announces Return of California Resident Ticket

ANAHEIM - Disneyland Resort is kicking off the summer season with a limited-time ticket offer for California residents who wish to visit again and again. With thrilling adventures, popular attractions, beloved characters, and delightful treats, there's something for everyone to enjoy at the Disneyland Resort. As Disney marks its 100th anniversary this year, Disneyland Resort celebrates this milestone with special experiences, entertainment, and more.

For a limited time, California residents may visit the Disneyland Resort theme parks for as little as $83 per person per day with this special ticket offer. This 3-Day, 1-Park per day tickets start at $249 for admission Mondays through Thursdays or as low as $299 ($100 per day) for admission any day – including weekends – for eligible guests. Upgrades such as Park Hopper tickets or Disney Genie+ service are also available.

Disney and Make-A-Wish® Celebrate Longstanding Relationship on World Wish Day

BURBANK -  The Walt Disney Company and Make-A-Wish celebrated World Wish Day on Saturday, April 29, a date that marks the anniversary of the wish that inspired the founding of Make-A-Wish in 1980. Since the first official wish granted at Disneyland® Resort, Disney and Make-A-Wish have worked together to help grant 150,000 wishes globally, delivering joy when it is needed most to wish kids and their families.

Over the past 43 years, Disney has become the biggest wish granter in the world for Make-A-Wish, bringing the life-changing impact of a wish to children facing critical illnesses and their families.
