Jerry Dennis Adams, age 65, passed away Sunday, March 4, 2012 in Madera, Ca. He was born August 7, 1946 to Esther and William Adams in Madera where he lived his entire life. Jerry was the retired owner/operator of Adams Auto Electric Shop in Madera.When he wasn't running his business, he loved to travel on weekends to the beach, mountains and the desert, especially to Reno and Santa Cruz. His other passion in life besides traveling was drag racing his Impala and purchasing new vehicles often, always black on black luxury cars.
Jerry was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather and treasured his family more than anything. Jerry was most grateful for the loyalty of his customers over the years and counted them as his friends.
He is preceded in death by his mother Esther Adams who passed away in October 2001.
Jerry is survived by his father, William Adams of Madera, his loving wife of 48 years, Stella of Madera, CA, his two daughters, Debbi Miller and her companion Nelson Malick of Madera and Leisa Sobieraj and her husband Steve of Santa Cruz, CA. Also surviving are his two granddaughters Alexis Miller and Sophia Sobieraj and his great grandson Mitchyll Bowman.
Private family services were held under the direction of Jay Chapel. Interment was in Arbor Vitae Cemetery.
