Lucille Galleano (82), a native and lifelong resident of Madera, CA passed away Thursday, March 29, 2012 at a Madera hospital. She was a graduate of Madera High School class of 1947 and was a retired worker from the Madera County Welfare Department. During the course of her life, she was a member of St. Joachim Catholic Church and the St. Joachim's Young Ladies Institute, Madera County Taxpayers Association, and the Madera Republican Women Federation.
She is survived by her two daughters: Tina Galleano of Los Angeles & Janine Marklund of Madera, CA. her brother: Joe (Jerry) and his wife Eva Nascimento of San Jose, CA. Grandson: Christopher Marklund of Washington DC and granddaughter Danielle Marklund of Madera, CA. Lucille also had several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Monday, April 2, 2012 from 2:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. with Recitation of the Rosary beginning at 7:00 P.M. at Jay Chapel in Madera. Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at 9:00 A.M. at St. Joachim Catholic Church in Madera. Interment to follow at Arbor Vitae Cemetery in Madera.
