Clovis - Clovis Police detectives broke up a drug deal in Fresno about 6 o’clock Thursday evening that netted them the arrest of a significant OxyContin dealer popular with Clovis teenagers and the dealer’s supplier. It happened at Fresno and Friant in the Applebee’s parking lot. Clovis officers received a tip about a potential sale of OxyContin taking place at that location.
Clovis Police arrested 27-year-old Christopher Pierce of Fresno for 2 counts of sales and transportation of controlled substances and for being a convicted felon in possession of a switchblade. All three are felonies. And, they arrested the dealer for four other drug-related misdemeanors.
Also taken into custody was 42-year-old Preston Marsh, a supplier and convicted felon out of Madera. Detectives arrested him for possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, 2 counts of sales and transportation, conspiracy and gang enhancements. All four are felonies.
In all, Clovis Narcotics detectives seized 135 (80 gram) OxyContin pills; 86 (350 mg) prescription muscle relaxants; 105 (10 mg) Valium pills; and 3 grams of marijuana.
