 Sacramento – More than 1,700 restaurateurs in Fresno and Madera counties will vote on the awards in more than 25 categories. The Best of the Valley Restaurant Awards was founded in 1992.
"After such a hard-fought year for the local restaurant community, it will be that much more rewarding to honor the standouts," said John Pardini, Fresno chapter president and partner in Parco Holdings.

 Clovis - On August 17, 2009, at the Grand Opening of TJ’s Pizza Buffet, the Olsen Family dined for under $20, and had all they could eat, and more. Jeff & Jennifer and children Kiley and Kara enjoyed pizza, pasta, soup, salad bar, dessert, and soft-serve ice cream. They were amazed at the variety of pizza offerings, impressive salad bar, fresh & hot soup with breadsticks, mac & cheese, and tempting desserts.
“The kids favorite was of course, the mac & cheese,” stated Jeff. “I couldn’t decide which pizza was my favorite, the Fettucini Alfredo, Taco, or TJ’s Special. The crust is the best I have ever tasted.” Jennifer loved the soups, “even though it is 100 degrees outside.” She ended the evening with soft-serve over the hot Apple Crisp dessert. Jeff summed it up with, “There are so many choices, and I cannot believe I got change back from my 20.”
